Have you been seeing all the roller derby on the internet this year and want to learn more about the sport and the community? Are you craving comradery and sportsmanship? We have just the place for you. Join us for our first beginner’s boot camp of the year. We will teach you all about skate techniques, how to stop, different footwork, and how to play the game of roller derby. All skate levels are welcome, ages 18 and up . We have some loaner gear available on a first come first serve basis.

We are very happy to announce your Yellow Rose Derby Girls’ first game of the season happening on Sunday March 26, 2023. Conroe Cutthroats will be hosting this single header at Rainbow Roller Rink in Conroe TX and we couldn’t be happier. It will be a nail biting game from start to finish.

Yellow Rose Derby Girls are hosting a six-week flat track roller derby beginner’s boot camp. This beginner’s roller derby boot camp is a fun way to get in shape, make new friends, and hone your skating skills to play or referee the sport of roller derby!

Whether you’ve never touched a pair of skates, or you already know your way around the rink, we can train you! No experience necessary.

This boot camp is open to aspiring women roller derby skaters AND men and women who wish to develop their skills to become roller derby referees.

When: Monday’s October 3rd – November 14th, 2022 (6 weeks) – (NO SESSION ON OCTOBER 31ST)

Where: 12950 Sugar Ridge Blvd Stafford, TX 77477

AN INTRODUCTORY/GEAR FITTING MEETING WILL OCCUR ON SEPTEMBER 26TH AT PRACTICE LOCATION FROM 8PM-9PM

Details: 18+ in order to attend.
