Think you’ve got what it takes to sink the perfect shot? Grab a partner and join Yellow Rose Roller Derby for our Beer Pong Tournament Fundraiser at Bad Astronaut Brewery on Saturday, April 19th!   

WHAT TO EXPECT:

• Single-elimination tournament – last team standing wins! (We will be playing with water in the cups)

• Players must be 21+ and drink responsibly (if playing with alcohol).
• All drinks must be purchased from the brewery (no outside alcohol)
• Poor sportsmanship or excessive intoxication may result in disqualification.

Have you been seeing all the roller derby on the internet this year and want to learn more about the sport and the community? Have you been out of the game for a while and are looking for the right time to jump back in? Are you craving comradery and sportsmanship? We have just the place for you. Join us for our fall beginner’s boot camp! We will teach you all about skate techniques, how to stop, different footwork, and how to play the game of roller derby. All skate levels are welcome, ages 18 and up . We have some loaner gear available on a first come first serve basis.

Equipment needed: Quad Skate, helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, wrist guards, mouth guard (some loaner gear available, we do not provide mouth guards)

WE WILL HAVE AN INTRODUCTORY MEETING ON MONDAY SEPTEMBER 30TH 8P-9P TO MEET YOUR TRAINERS, GET FITTED FOR GEAR (IF NEEDED) AND DISCUSS THE SIX WEEK BOOTCAMP.
